Frequently Asked Questions


When will I get my title?

You will receive a green Oklahoma title, signed over to you and your co-buyer (if applicable), along with the rest of your title paperwork no later than 30 days after your purchase.

How will my title arrive?

Your title paperwork will be sent certified mail to the address provided at time of sale.  If you are not home when the postman attempts delivery, a notice will be left in your mailbox.  It is your responsibility to follow up with your local post office to get the title picked up if that occurs. 

What do I do if I do not receive it?

If 30 days has passed since you purchased your vehicle and you have not received your title paperwork, please reach out to our title department at (405) 772-7720.

What do I do after I get it?

Your title paperwork must be taken to a tag office to finish transferring the vehicle into your name with the State of Oklahoma.

Can Express Credit Auto issue me another temporary tag if mine has expired?

 No.  Oklahoma State law prohibits us from issuing additional temporary tags.

Can Express Credit Auto add a family member's name to my title after purchase?

Unfortunately, Express Credit Auto cannot add anyone's name to the title that is not a listed party on the retail installment contract.  

Can Express Auto help me get a duplicate title?

If you have already received your title and at some point and transferred it into your name, Express Credit Auto cannot help you get a duplicate. You must visit your local tag office and order a duplicate from the State of Oklahoma. If you have never received your title and it has been over 30 days please contact the title department at (405) 772-7720.
